Rumor's 2/4 St Louis- Charter Internet 16/2. I even was quoted the price.
Out of town next week, so when I get back, will post results. |

| That would be cool if early feb is when they start rolling it out.
I did a computer chat today and the guy said he didn't think it would be as early as february but couldn't find any documentation on it anywhere in the system. Probably just the dopey outsourced CSR i was chatting with though.
I sure hope Cali gets it soon in the rollout! |

@charter.com | reply to mbkowns [sarcasm] Yeah, and maybe if I pay for the 16/2 I'll finally get my 10/1 to work. [/sarcasm]
I'd be happy with a stable 10/1 connection without issues for a while before they roll out a 16/2. |

Don't get to excited, I called twice yesterday and nothing came out of it except the standard "not available yet" line. |

| reply to mbkowns i had to call Charter tech support yesterday 1-23-08 cause i had had my internet shut off for almost a week do to nonpayment. when i paid they never reactivated my modem so i had to call in. talked to someone named Matt I believe, and when we got done trouble shooting my line (that's a whole other story) I asked about the 16/2 connection coming to Burbank-Glendale area, and he stated from what he knew maybe mid year or April. prices weren't not talked about though. |

Still not in the system for St. Louis as of 1:30pm.
Everyone knows about it, though. Was told twice that it would roll by the end of the month. That's Thursday. |

I don't buy Charter TV. All I know is that my bill went from $79 to $59 for the 10M after the price drop.
16M will be the same price as the old 10M. |

| It's going to be soon in Riverside, CA.
I just got off the phone with customer service asking why on their web site the 10/1 plan is $59.99 and I'm paying $79.99.
They told me that starting next month, the 10/1 plan is going down to $59.99 and that they would change my rate now to the new price.
the 5 Meg plan will be $54.99. They are getting rid of the 3 Meg plan starting next month. But, they didn't know when the 16/2 plan would be rolled out. |
