said by mackieg4 :It's going to be soon in Riverside, CA. I just got off the phone with customer service asking why on their web site the 10/1 plan is $59.99 and I'm paying $79.99. They told me that starting next month, the 10/1 plan is going down to $59.99 and that they would change my rate now to the new price. the 5 Meg plan will be $54.99. They are getting rid of the 3 Meg plan starting next month. But, they didn't know when the 16/2 plan would be rolled out. acutally since the start of this thread I have been paying 59.99 for my charter. I am also in riverside so your info is wrong. |

Now I'm only being charged $59.99 |

Still not available in the billing system as of 11:10am CST.
Rep says it should be "sometime today or tomorrow" - email they got today lists Feb. 1 as hard roll for MANY areas. |

I signed up a year ago when it was $49.99 for 6 months, then after that promo it went up to the normal $79.99 price, which was listed on their website. The new price is $59.99 mo as of this month. |

We have to remember that Charters prices are not standardized across the nation. The price of service (and the practices on the service) vary from area to area. |

The edited version should be what does any tier matter when Charters starts rolling out metered service? Put me back down to 1.5 if that happens. But as soon as Charter does metering, I am gone. 7meg dsl is availalbe here with fast path for 40 a month. All you can eat. Not bullshit metering. |

I know, but we live less than a hour drive from each other, yet he was still paying $10 more than me for the exact same service is why I was asking.
So he saves $20 on 10meg while i'll save $10 on 10meg..assuming they lower mine to his price of $59.99 to. hehe |
