<title>Awful Service Calls on LI</title>

<description><![CDATA[paulsfd posted : Started with no IMG on one of my boxes.  Re-set everything.  Still no good.  Called tech support and waited 30 minutes for the rep to tell me router was bad.  They would mail me one right away.  Next day get a call saying that a tech would have to install it (come on...a power plug, a coax cable and a cat 5 wire...my 3 year old could do that).  They tell me a guy would be here Wednesday between 4 and 8.  8:10...no show.  The wife calls (I'm at work) Verizon and they can't find my account.  I get home and call (wait 45 minutes).  They tell me they don't know why the other guy couldn't find the account.  Set-up an appt for Friday AM. Thursday get a voice mail from the install guy saying he'll be at my house at 10:15.  Since it's Thursday and NOT Friday...nobodies home!!!!  I call AGAIN and the say the guy screwed up and will be here Friday AM.  WELLLLL...it's Friday at 11:00 and still nobody.<br><br>I gotta tell ya, I hated Cablevision, but at least they would show up................ ]]></description>
