Mea culpa on the TrueCrypt. I am keeping track of the total users, though. -- Team Discovery

1 edit | reply to mers2 Mainly TrueCrypt (for encrypted volumes) but I also use AxCrypt and WinRAR. Not sure if using Secure Login on Firefox counts, but I do. Have also started using EncryptOnClick in portable mode on a couple of thumb drives - a bit of info advised by one of the members of the forum a few weeks ago. I find it very useful. For passwords I use KeePass. |

| reply to mers2 KeePass Password Safe V1.09 and Password Safe V3.11.01 I keep both up to date with backup copies off site for added security. Thanks for the useful poll mers2. -- Life is like stepping onto a boat which is about to sail out to sea and sink. - Suzuki Roshi

1 edit | reply to mers2 I use Roboform for my passwords. I never write/send anything worth encrypting.
Thanks mers2 for the great poll.

| reply to s bassaw said by s bassaw :I have started using the biometrics fingerprint scanner that came with my notebook. It can be setup to enter passwords/ user names for Windows and many forms on the Internet. It sure is handy isn't it? I use it for everything on my laptop. I didn't even bother installing KeePass. -- Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness. . . Isa. 5:20 |

1 edit | reply to mers2 I'm not quite sure why you included PGP Tools without listing the current PGP products such as PGP Desktop and PGP Whole Disk Encryption, as these are quite different. Sorry to rain on your otherwise excellent poll!
My choices are KeePass, TrueCrypt and WinZip. |
