What exactly did you do to change that or did you misread the -7 as +7 initially?
Either you have a freaky situation which is killing downstream only or you just removed a bidirectional 10db amp?
Wait were you routing it through a power strip or something?
that said your levels are within an acceptable range for internet on both posts.You are running a wireless router, sometimes you get interference on these and you need to change the broadcast channel in the router config, I had to move mine to 11 recently after moving it from the default 6 to 3 and having more packet loss. Depends on where you are what all is being used near you in the way or other peoples wireless connections and certain cordless phones 2.8Ghz IIRC. |

The stronger signal strength leaves more wiggle room for potential future attenuation issues.
