| Pre-sales question for sonic.net; what modem should I get?
Maybe I looked in the wrong part of the site, but I couldn't find anything on sonic.net about what kind of modem I'll need for a 3000 - 6000 DSL hook-up. Can I use just about any modem from newegg with an ethernet and usb port? Or do some modems with particular specification sets work better than others?
I'm assuming that the hardware package new customers are charged for includes the phone line filters -- but if I'm wrong, and it includes the modem, too, I'd love to know!

San Jose, CA | You can get the modem from Sonic, I'm not sure if they still have but you pay $49 you get the modem and filters. After you submit the upc in for a $49 credit towards your monthly fee, so basically a free modem. |

You can buy any ADSL modem, or just use one of the kits we offer.
