This content will be streamed by the DSL or Cable provider from their headend equipment or central office and will not be counted against the bit caps. It'll come from their equipment just like video on demand does now. |

Not only that, but US IPTV like that would be a ways off and with cable providers moving forward with SDV and later DOCSIS 3 a lot of the BW crunch would be lifted. |

Having everything on the same box, you might have to choose between watching/recording a show or movie, or playing that game.
Then, for family's, mom or dad wants to watch their shows, or let the kids play a game  |

When the SNES came out in 1990, it was $200, considering minimum wage has almost DOUBLED since then what does that say about the price of consoles? Interestingly, in 1985, the NES also cost $200, and years later, the N64 was released for $200. All those came with a single controller and a single game, just like the base system does today.
The prices haven't gone up, you're just discovering how much your parents spent on you when you were a kid. |

I can say that the issue went away after the upgrade to a HDTV.

The averge income in 1980 was $15,000 a year. |
