Does the end of the faucet rotate like that on purpose? Is it a threaded fitting, or is that one of those pullout sprayers? If it's just a loose threaded fitting I would put a little dab of thread locker on it at the end of the threads farthest away from the water.
Thanks for the advice too. It's not a pull out sprayer, just a stupid design I guess. I assume it's designed like that on purpose. It is a threaded fit.
Put the filter on, works pretty good. I think the wife will still think the water tastes like dirt though.
Run a gallon or so of water through the filter or she will. New filters will kick out all kinds of crap when first placed into service and as such need to be flushed out a little.
