ho hum

Correct me if I'm wrong, but IPTV is designed for on-demand programming, right? So basically... the only difference between Marketplace and IPTV is the content and the fact that IPTV streams from the start? Because when downloading a movie from Marketplace, the movie can be started while the movie is still downloading (depending on the speed of your connection, the buffer may take awhile to fill).

Guess I'm just not really seeing the hype over this when something so similar is already in place.

It can do like 6 picture in a picture at once. Real time switch to record. Super fast channel changing.

Most IPTV providers provide an actual TV service that has live TV on it, much like a cable TV or satellite provider does.

Edit: Clarified a little bit.
