Just looking at your pictures again. Some food for thought... Why do you have that 60MM fan over the 120MM one? Look at where it's mounted -- a plane of perforated metal. It looks to me like air blown out by that fan will be sucked right back inside through those perforations surrounding it. Same idea applies to the 120MM fan too. The fans are simply fighting themselves. If I were you, I'd try removing the 60MM fan entirely and then put clear shipping tape over *all* the sheet metal perforations in the back of the case except for the fan outlet(s). You want to pull air in ONE direction, not in circles. Anything flowing in circles isn't doing you a bit of good and only creates more noise. Also, I'd remove all the perforated sheet metal on the exhaust side of the 120MM fan. All that does is restrict airflow and create noise and turbulence. |
