Amen- A lot of talk and no real action from these players. All I ever hear is this company or that company is going to offer such and such but I've yet to see it in my part of the world (or anything close) The Telcos and cable boys are going to milk the current customer base for as much as possible before they spend a dime to really upgrade their offerings. |

Yep, they wont risk losing their small business T-1 revenues. With U-VERSE they get to upgrade and not risk losing that cash cow. ADSL2+ was standard in what 2003-04? All they are doing is making more automated milking machines. -- Do ye, quieting in your bosoms your strong hearts, Who of many good things have had your fill even to surfeit, With what is moderate nourish your mighty desire; for neither will We yield, nor shall you have all else as you wish. The business level T1 etc. have SLA that DSL does not have. That is a chunk of the extra cost. If the circuit goes down a tech will respond asap. |
