Re: AT&T said by soothsayer15:said by ieolus:Maybe AT&T's business is slowing because people realize what a bad company it is and are punishing it for spying on us w/o a warrant? Wrong, AT&T is falling because the rest of the economy is taking a hit.. Wrong,AT&T is falling because the rest of the customers are changeing over to Voip & digital phone

Because the article stated that people weren't PAYING their bills. I don't think people that aren't paying are going to order up new service with someone else. Especially if they want to transfer their old number. Once your number is canceled you can't move it. The circular logic of some of you is astounding. |

What I don't get is why more people aren't jumping to Vonage/Skype/Call Vantage Voip for $25/month -- Canada = Hollywood North |

Comast Digital Voice - the difference is clear! -- Comcast has spoiled me rotten! |

 | reply to Anonymous_ DUH like - Dude, even with VOIP - you still need DSL. How do you plan to do VOIP without DSL ?
But if you have regular reliable analog line, why would you want to pay $$ a month to jump on VOIP? |

shoan join:2006-02-27 Benton, AR | reply to deVOIP_DUDE I don't use DSL I use a local wireless ISP. It's great having the provider a fwe mins away where I can talk to them face to face, and not a faceless CSR in India. I gladly pay a bucks more a month for service that is local and I can get face to face with the admin if they are not doing thier job. So far they have been leaps and bounds ahead of anything I ever had with a phone company. |
