Remind me

Does Verizon DSL still require PPPoE, or can you get a straight DHCP connection?

Bell is waiting for a communist revolution, since Canadian last mile telecom companies are in a much more cozy monopoly than USA. Remember Canada has no trace of ownership rules, or antitrust rules. Look at Bell GlobalMedia, in the USA, that would be Verizon owning AOL Time Warner.

Depends...
If your in a,
-ex-BA area, PPPoE
-ex-GTE area, DHCP
HTH

At least the price came down from $47.99 in another story here, to $39. One year contract?.. I'm not sure I trust Verizon that much to deliver reliable service. With all their network problems, 7M DSL and FIOS may just push them over the edge. I think I'll sit this one out and see what happens.

If only the Verizon CSRs worked this well.
