First step, throw the CD in a drawer. I'd say throw it out, but there may be something on there that you may one day find interesting (though not really useful). Once you are sure you have everything connected correctly, turn on the modem and push in the reset button on the back. Disable any firewalls on your system. On your pc in Control Panel under Network connections, right click your LAN connection and choose Properties. Double click TCP/IP, and make sure everything on the first tab is set to Auto. Click OK to close all of the open boxes and try accessing the modem again at »192.168.1.1. |
