| Ill let you know I have a good splitter and an at about 9500 feet. I get about 2900 on the 3.0 service. Got a good (non brain dead) VZ person the phone today. She knew the deal and thinks she can get me in.New modem I think and a tech has to come out for free to check the line. I am in 90712. FIOS is 1.5 miles away but it might as well be 5000. No fiber in the air here yet. |

No fiber in the air here yet. Good luck, Me I'm using the old 2100(Westell Wirespeed) DSL modem that I've had since 2004, Works pretty good at 6M/768K. Of course Fios is no where near here, It's about 50 miles or so as the crow flies away from where I live for the time being.
