All the physical media will soon go the way of the dodo. You need the bandwidth to do that, and most American's still don't have it. They also said paper would go away with the advent of computers, well, we all know how that turned it  I'm sure electronic will eventually take over, but you're talking a while here, DVD is here to stay for a while.
