recently transferred a domain away from Network Solutions due to their bad business practices and high cost.

I had to log into my account (it had been 5+ years since last login) to do the transfer, and upon login they required me to complete a field that wasn't in their system. I had to fill it in to continue. So I did. Turns out that means I updated my account and they put a 60 day hold on the domain. Bastards!
