Re: After 6 hrs on the phone...Nothing... OK..Did some checking around this morning and this is what I came up with...
Hooked everything back up...
Ran, DSL straight to phone jack, hooked ethernet straight into my computer..
Reset DSL modem..
Went to network-share center and found...Unidentified network..
clicked on that and found...Local area connections does not have valid IP address..
All the IP addresses I found were saying 192.168.1.1 but when I ran a ping test on that number it would say request timed out packets sent=4 received=0 lost=4
All lights on modem are working..DSL:solid green Power:green E1:green internet:green(blinking)
So still not able to browse..
SO if I hook back up to hughesnet..everything works fine..
So I will sit and wait for a new modem and hopefully it will work...Keeping fingers crossed |

 | IP should be 192.168.1.xx, not 192.168.1.1 192.168.1.1 should be the default gateway
Check your TCP Setting or UnInstall NIC from Device Manager & Reboot |
