From what I can gather (I didn't go to her house and troubleshoot), it sounds like her problem was her connections tab under internet options. I think her problem came from her previous hughesnet account....for some reason or setting, it kept on setting her ip address to something that hugesnet uses....but she caught up with me later and confirmed this....still don't know what speed she is provisioned for, she had a speed test result of I believe 1.7Mbps, Cathy...if you can, go to 192.168.1.1 and under the gateway column, about half way down, it should tell you speed up/down right under DSL link and above connection type....thanks....Scott |
