Probably not, seeing as it's hard to wiretap punchcards.

I kid, of course; I believe most of the IRS computers have been upgraded to 5.25" diskettes by now.

Funny...

But I wouldn't doubt the IRS has the largest base of AS/400's deployed... or some other ancient & expensive IBM system.

My Grandpa used to work for 3M and "acquired" lots of surplus, including tons of 5.25" discs. He always tries to get me to take a couple of boxes home.... I haven't the heart to tell him that his stockpile of nearly 20 year old discs aren't even good coasters

... Perhaps I should have him ship his loot to the IRS!
