| Cable Cards Installed, No Guide Info Tho! Got my Cable Cards today and the installation went pretty smoothly.
However, now that guy is gone and I am not getting the listing of channels and the guide for the new channels(anything over channel 99). I even connected to TiVo through the system menu and downloaded the updates there.
Any help? |

1 edit | What do you mean by "no guide info". I know that with a cable box, it takes hours for all the guide data to be populated. If the power goes out or I unplug the box, the guide will just show "To be announced" or something like that on every channel. then as the guide data comes down the line, the guide is updated.

If you probably left it alone, it would have done it overnight. Do to cables total control over your tv model, this hasnt been resolved.

Actually, all I had to do is re run guide setup and everything is fine. |

Any help? did you re do the guided setup. if you don't do it after the cards have been installed you'll get all the channels but no channel descriptions |
