Can Someone Shed some light

"Assuming these looming changes are true, AT&T may want to start removing the word unlimited from their advertising material."

Assuming they do start doing this, isn't it pretty much bait and switch? please correct me if i'm wrong but i would like to know. And what about those people that already bought one months ago under the assumption that the plan was free? Seems to be bait and switch. i see legal battles if someone can prove bait and switch.
