My take: Canada won't have the iPhone unless there was another GSM provider in Canada. Rogers isn't losing anything since Telus or Bell can't bring in the iPhone.
Fido won't because it's a Rogers company.

So we'll have to wait for Vidéotron to get into the GSM business.

Wrong, the iPhone IS coming and i'll tell you now it is Rogers, it just took a bit of negotiation.
