EGeezer : If this has been posted before, my apologies ..

According to the FAA, Boeing's new 787 Dreamliner's internet access presents security risks that might allow hackers to disrupt the operation of the aircraft. A few years back, there were some devices in aircraft that utilized bluetooth, which I understand has been disabled.

The 787-2 presently has conditional approval which excludes the internet usage until Boeing can demonstrate that the system is hackerproof.
