According to the FAA, Boeing's new 787 Dreamliner's internet access presents security risks that might allow hackers to disrupt the operation of the aircraft. A few years back, there were some devices in aircraft that utilized bluetooth, which I understand has been disabled.

The 787-2 presently has conditional approval which excludes the internet usage until Boeing can demonstrate that the system is hackerproof. (Now THERE's a novel idea! :D )
