RE: Networking in C?

Hi all,
I just wanted to know, does c traditionally have any libraries for networking or TCP/IP protocols? Like, is there any set of headers I can use to enable this?
If it doesn't by default, can anyone tell me any alternative ways to enable networking in C (or C++)?
Thanks,
Cheers,
