Re: Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 4 Well, before this slips to forgot again, as I've intended inquiring about it before, I've a question about these Java updates.
Upon each new update, having deleted/uninstalled the prior version and used registry tools to clean-up what is always left behind, I'm presented multiple connection questions by my firewall, asking if I'll allow connection.
The file jusched.exe, which I believe is "java update scheduler", or some such, asks for both inbound/outbound UDP and TCP connections to IP address' 66.82.4.8 and 12.37.74.33 ... I'm allowing these connections.
We trust Sun Microsystems .. don't we? |
