Can I move the fios boxes from room to room if all the rooms have coax cable hookups. Thanks!!! |

| reply to shorebrook Yup, you can! We swapped in an HD STB earlier this week (had to call in to get it properly activated) and last night we took our original SD STB and hooked up in another room. Works like a charm |

3 edits | Keep in mind tho that Vz notes the location of the box (e.g. Living room, bedroom 1)at installation. If you ever need a reset by them or have them troubleshoot a box, it may not match what they have on their records. I'd just keep track of the Serial #s and verify when/if you have to call in troubles. |

| I had a problem with one of my 2 DVRs the other night. I tried switching it to another room and it still didn't work correctly. When I called VZ the technician asked where it had been switched from. I gave the changed location and he identified it based on the info I gave him. (BTW, corrected problem. Excellent service!) |
