[DSL] Need to get at 'save to PC emails'

Have been with AOL for 4 yrs now - but since Xmas have not been able to sign in to my account (except by webmail). Have spent ages with help(?)desk and can't get resolution. Problem with webmail is that I can't see or get at emails saved on PC. How can I get at these emails?

My friend, The Save on My PC emails are only accessible with the AOL software and not from the AOL webmail.

I know that thank you. My issue is that these are my emails - not AOLs - what I need to do is to save them outside of AOL. I can view them on AOL on my old PC but need them free of any encumbrance so I can access the content at any time.

Also if AOL want to jump on this site and respond why don't you answer the question of what have you done to your software that makes my (and many other people's) log in lock me out when I try and access my emails via AOL with a Belkin or BT router (I have both)??????

My friend I am not a tech person from AOL. I am just another user like you, just trying to help you out with your situation.
If would like to give a feedback on AOL, go to www.aol.com and click on SEND FEEDBACK link on the top right hand side of the AOL screen.

You can pull the mail down to another mail program like Outlook if you want and bypass AOL altogether

Are the messages you're looking for stored on an old computer? I once fished out old saved AOL mail messages by copying files from the "Organize" folder and opening them with newer AOL software. I don't remember exactly how I did it, but I was able to migrate them from one computer to another and then re-save them.

that is possible but it will replace any emails she has saved on new PC if she saves those first and then replaces them it would work
