| Maybe there is an issue with IE's ActiveX plugins? If you select the 'Settings' button in the Tools-Internet Options-General-Temporary Internet files section, choose the "View Objects" button and see if you have anything that might be used by Napster? You should be able to delete all of these objects without any problems. You will get a prompt to reinstall any objects you might need. Perhaps one of these is corrupted? |

what happens if you go to ie options and disable script debugging if it's not already disabled? make sure "display a notification about every script error" is unchecked too. also i was wondering, when working, which service do you prefer? |

I've already tried that, several times. The error pops up weather these options are checked or unchecked. A friend of mine thinks it's the options in the registry getting stuck.
Any other ideas?
And oh, when it's working, I prefer Napster. I use the free Comcast Rhapsody too. |

This is a doozy.
I have seen all types of efforts to attempt to resolve various scripting errors with IE. Perhaps one of these solutions might fix your issue?

Start > Run > regsvr32 jscript.dll > OK" I tried the solution you posted and it said it was successful, but the error still pops up in both programs. I'll open the link and try some of that.

| Any chance you are blocking tracking cookies with some utility? It could be a real-time scan from anti-virus software or spyware protection. I would shutdown as many applications as possible and see if the problem goes away. You can then start running these one at a time in an effort to isolate the offending program.
Somebody at the Rhapsody support forum had an issue with F-Secure AV. |

I've recently updated my AS program and that may be it, but I can't try it just yet.

Indeed I did. It didn't do jack. And to make things even funnier, two more problems have cropped up. MS Update's site doesn't work anymore and any webpages or programs that use drop down menus no longer work.
I can't delete my email at hotmail.com since this whole thing started.
How do I fix THIS?
Anymore ideas? There has to be a fix for all these! |
