FiOS Billing

Just to buck the trend a little bit on Verizon's billing process, I have had FiOS TV, internet, and phone for over two years, and my bill has been correct every month except for one brief period. My only issue with billing was about a year ago, I did not initially get a small discount I was supposed to receive, it took three 10 minute calls (including wait time) to get it fixed.

When you make a change to your service it takes several months to catch up, which is what I think confuses some people. The "triple-play" bill I get now is a model of clarity, very simple to understand, and as I said before, correct (and I check it every month).

I tried FIOS in my area and I went back to Cablevision. The actual service was OK, but the customer service sucked. Any time I had to call them, it was atleast a 2 hour phone call with an average of 8 transfers. I actually had one person tell me, "You have Internet, Phone, and TV? I can only help you if you only have Internet and Phone, another department handles your account." Cablevision has not been perfect, but when there is a problem it is usually a 20 minute call (Or a 5 minute drive to the local office) to resolve.
