I never said a thing about a conspiracy....
In this tread of mine
»[XP] Can someone give any clues???
I have posted that ever since I am using a Cable connection I have not had any computer reboots.
So there must be some kind of connection.
Same hardware with the exception of the Modem. However if you read the other tread I ruled that out by swopping out the Netopia for a 2 wire unit I have and the problem still existed.

I mearly Asked/Suggested that maybee it is tied to my problem A simple explanation of the problem. As is the other suggestion of the Transformer that feeds it could also be the problem. FYI: straigh from A line technition for TXU electric maintence dept. you can **** things up under volting just as well as overvolting.

which could explain the 100,000's malformed packets I seen.
And you act like I am out right accusing Att of something.
And that is not the case here.
It is a well known fact that if the electrical is faulty or you are even getting undervoltage it could constanly reboot your computer. But that is not the case Here on location. As i have checked it with a True RMS meter and I have checked time and over the amperage on every circuit @ the location.
So its not to far fetched to assume that if the RT had a electrical problem it can be carried downline/upstream.
However you like to put it.

No, don't even start with that.
