 [Other] laptop hangs after inserting MagicJack into USB port

I got MJ yesterday neatly packed well.

when i insert into the USB port on my HP Laptop, the system just went HANGING, unless i remove/unplug the MagicJack from USB port.

I have following specifications

1) HP Laptop, DV1000 series
2) Core 2Duo, and OS is windows XP home edition.
3) Removed the Music Player softwares (Realplayers, music match, rapsody).
4) Tried MagicFix on the site, still it is hanging.
5) Tried upgrader.exe given on the MJ Site, still it is hanging.

Any help would be appreciated.
