If you don't get connected, leave the modem disconnected for about 5 minutes (if there's a battery hooked up to it as well, remove the battery) and that should clear out the information about the last MAC address your modem was hooked up to allowing it to get online.<br><br>If, for some odd reason, leaving it unplugged still doesn't get you on, then disconnect the router and the modem, wait about 10 minute this time, plug in the modem and let it boot up.  Once the modem is up then plug in the router and let that boot up as well.  You should now be able to get on.<br><br>Cheers.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/1520345"><b>raver36</b></A> : I hope someone can help me,i am currently on a cable modem running on vista with a belkin router,now recently i have just acquired a new router a d- link dir 635 for speed reasons.What i need to know is there any special things you have too do when replacing an old router with a new one as the install cd all works up too the point of connecting too the internet which it is having none of,hope someone can help thanks]]></description>
