| New router Information plz
hello all, hope U are well,
just recieved & NOW have hooked up a new router,
Model: 2701HG-B Gateway
plz see post also @
SITUATION
Was runing Z/ internal firewall ok, now have router hooked up & running with an EXTERNAL firewall,
Question
can i run both internal & external firewall or would they (as i was told by AT&T tele tec, "'they would create a problem running 2 firewall at same time?

I like the 2wire routers. That's actually the same model I was using for a time.
As heels_fan said, you should be fine running both firewalls, I run both the one with Windows XP and the dd-wrt. |

A NAT firewall and a software firewall are fine. Two software firewalls could cause a problem.
I am running ZA with my router's fw, as do many other people. |
