They seemed to be proud of that huge vulnerability. It was at that point I knew I would never recommend it to anyone. This means that Sygate will let out anything going through a local proxy without a prompt.  No local proxy then you should be ok.  5.6.2808 ver is most available.  Have used other versions 2818 and 3304 and 3311, but went back to 2808 as it seems stable.<br><br>However, I am uncertain how this loopback issue affects newer antivirus programs that may use this method in their design. Maybe someone more knowing than I can chime in.]]></description>

It's being improved considerably currently but it is not going to be great, as far as I can see, even in version 8 which due out in April. Recently I was given an opportunity to try Outpost Pro. <br>I am only into the 3rd day of testing and so far ZA is much better. It is very easy to see what programs want out. Also easy to set permissions. And of course Zonelog Analyser.<br>The reason I am trying Outpost is that they discontinued Tauscan. This was a very good trojan scanner with real time protection. The folks at Outpost made a mistake by discontinuing it. IMO<br>They have bundled the scanner into their firewall. So far I personally do not like the firewall. I will look for another good trojan scanner and go back to ZA free.]]></description>
