i use my usr8054 fine for few hours a day
i rebooted my computer and noticed i cant connect to internet
and on my router
wan light was ok-green
status gone off
and power light was in madly orange color
i unplugged ac for 10 seconds and after few seconds router rebooted himself and both status and power leds gone back ok-green and net is working again

"Power LED: This LED is lighted green when the unit is functioning, and blinks when a firmware download is in progress. This LED is lighted amber during a reboot, a reset, or self-test."

"Status LED: This LED is lighted green when wireless functionality is enabled and blinks when there is wireless activity. This LED is not lighted when wireless functionality is disabled."

Re: usr8054 router power light turns orange

Probably the Power LED holds the answer for the status LED.
