They have it all wrong...

Instead of blocking these sites, they should encourage them (yes, you read that correctly). In fact, the UK government should create a honeypot type situation, with their own "faux" radical sites. This way, they could simply monitor everything (and everyone) that logs onto those sites and makes posts. Think about it, you create a website for terrorist wanabes. They come, post about things they are going to do, and BAM you go and arrest them all. Those morons will be stuck scratching their heads wondering how they got caught, and likely will head right back to the government spoofed site to talk about it! Pepper the internet with a few of these and the UK could round up (and execute, if only they still did that ) hundreds, if not thousands of those vile monsters. The world would certainly be a better place.....

In reality, I suspect the government in the UK is already doing this. If only all governments did this we could rid the earth of these murderous vermin once and for all.

If you're not attracted to radical Muslim websites, why would you be concerned? A honey pot is a basic security principle. It's a great way to intercept hackers (whatever), giving them non-sensitive resources to bang on so they don't spend their time on sensitive resources.

Why would you be opposed to that when it comes to people who embrace religious violence?

Not really, it happens every day with regard to hackers. This is simply raising the stakes a little bit. The FBI has been using honeypots for years, and I suspect foreign governments have as well. A criminal on the internet is the same any way you dice it, they all seek their own kind.
