 | Reference documentation for Verison 327W Router Just received this router with my new adsl service. I have no reference documentation on router settings, etc. Where is this hidden?

| Well I contacted Verizon online technical support to ask for the reference manual. What follows is the transcript of the session. Am I being unreasonable? Sheesh!!!!

Gandharv: I would like to inform you that there is no manual available online becouse westell how is the manufacturer of the modem do not provide verizon with that however what you can do is you can serch the manual on westell site if they have any manual provided online. The website states that for this model all support is provided by Verizon!!!! Someone must have the reference manual. I imagine your senior support personal must have a copy. I am capable of configuring this router with the reference manual documentation that I would normally have. I imagine you must have had other requests for this manual? This just does not make sense. Gandharv: I would like to inform you that firewall can be turned on by going into the Graphic interface of the router and click on security and then you will get the option of firewall. Gandharv: You can try it and I belive this will work. Bob Trautman: Currently I have the firewall off. If I enable it, then I will have to configure my port fowarding/ port triggering rules so that I can continue to work. Since I don't have the reference manual for some troubles I was having, the firewall is turned off so I can continue to work. Gandharv: Okay.
