Re: Suddenlink Tech Support

I'm also a Suddenlink technician. I work out of the Ruston office. We serve Ruston, Grambling, Simsboro, Jonesboro, Vienna, Dubach, and Unionville. I just found this forum recently and started browsing around. If anyone has questions, I can offer some assistance.

im fed up with my Suddenlink cable internet service.after days go by of internet that reaches no where above 300kbs during the day and hardly ever reaching 500kbs at night.i called the service # to get a response on why my connection was so slow, i ran an internet test and told him the results. he said that there is definently something wrong with the connection and that he would send a service guy over in the morning. when tha service guy arived all he did was run the same test i had been runnning. then he gave me a response saying that there was nothing he could do and that suddenlink inked a deal with another internet company that would strengthen the bandwidth and all i had to do was wait 65 days and it would improve.i dont know if this is true, but we are fed up with close to dial up connection we get from suddenlink and are very close to switching ISP as well as our cable service.also our neighbors are having the same problems.i was hopeing that someone can shed some light on this issue because the last thing we wanna do is switch our ISP.

thank you

I just think its funny how you guys have call center employess trying to reply and respond to field problems and issues. The only info they really have at hand are there computer problem sheet layouts. I have been a field technician for over 6 years now, and from experience 99% of call center employees dont have a clue. Not really blaming them, some are unwiulling to learn, and the rest arent ever taught. U may want to revise your list.

Hi there,

Not everyone on the list is a call center agent; there are at least a couple FSRs on the approved list. The others on the list are not necessarily call center agents either (I am not).

If you'd like to lend your field expertise and get added to the list of approved Suddenlink representatives, please register a username contact Pete Abel. We'd definitely appreciate your experience.
