Saint Louis, MO | I do not see the FCC allowing any of the major player to buy Charter. Charter may be ate up by a bunch of smaller players( like Avenue Broadband) or split up in general. We do not need any of the major companies to get any larger. The fewer the number of large players the more likely that they will unofficially band together and just decide to do stuff. If the top 5 HSI players all switched to metered service at once, what choice would the consumer have? |

No, I base that on the current head of the FCC having a hard on for cable and that he is pushing limiting Comcast's(?) market share from getting any larger. If any of the major players would buy Charter that would put their market share at about or above the same level as Comcast. |
