| reply to aefstoggaflm No sense what so ever in having a third party add/remove. I either use the programs uninstall feature or the Windows add/remove. Followed up by crapcleaner and registry cleaner, then Resplendent Registrar for those toughies.
When I'm in the Windows world that is. Which is less and less everyday. Don't have to do all that time consuming BS in Linux. Can actually play on the all day and be done, just like that! -- The Firefox alternative. »www.mozilla.org/projects/seamonkey/ |

| reply to aefstoggaflm Thanks for the poll, aefstoggaflm. For older programs I basically use the Windows A/R, Ccleaner or the uninstaller in JV16 power tools. For newer installs I use snapshots to restore to a prior state. EAZ-FIX pro. Not an uninstaller per say, but it does go back as if the program never existed. -- VoicePulse 07/29/04 |

Stopped using stand-alone uninstallers, update managers and tuner-uppers years ago. Never seemed to be enough upside to warrant the added cost/overhead/hassle.

| reply to aefstoggaflm I use MyUninstaller or Windows Add/Remove then CCleaner.
I do have the Ashampoo Uninstaller but I keep forgetting to use it to INSTALL the program in the first place so I haven't really had a chance to test it.
Good poll, aefstoggaflm! |

| reply to chrisretusn I voted ZSoft Uninstaller. I use it together with Registry Seeker 1.5.(not an uninstaller of course). These two work fine for me and on rare occasions Add or Remove Programs. -- "The man who never makes a mistake always takes orders from the one who does." |

But it has a deadly drawback, snapshot before and after installation takes about 2 x 20mins, which is way too much. Registry scanner is slow as a snail. |

Will use Windows Restore if the program is a real dog to uninstall (e.g. CyberLink Power2Go) |
