Given the current environment of letting monopolies back together, another couple of years and AT&T and Verizon will merge back together. Then they will certainly have the capability to quickly smash any remaining competition and be vastly larger than Comcast.

ATT does FTTP in some areas, mine included. We get DSL speeds.
