| Fees, etc When I left Verizon I was paying over 37.00/month. I didn't need a long distance carrier since I get free long distance on my cell phone. What really ticked me off was I found out on one bill that Verizon was charging me $1.50/ month for the "privilege" of being able to use them if I wanted to to make long distance calls at $0.10/minute. Apparently the charge was on the bill for well over a year, too. Also, since the phone lines in my neighborhood had been strung back in the 1940's every time it rained the noise on the lines made the phone unusable. Needless to say, I decided to go somewhere where my business was appreciated. Verizon sure didn't care about my business. |
