They were the only ISP I found that offered tiered access at good prices (back in 2002 256k broadband cost the same as other dialup services). They offered a large amount of cable channels at prices lower than regional incumbent (Time Warner in Austin). I fear all of that good stuff will go away if they get bought out. Maybe they are up for sale because they were losing money selling their product at the prices they did.

Colorado Springs, CO | More likely they're not able to get enough capital to fund expansions. They are in some cases a over builder. Unfortunately a lot of their networks in Verizon serviced cities were overbuilt by Verizon.
If they became part of Surewest that may not be a bad thing. |
