They were the only ISP I found that offered tiered access at good prices (back in 2002 256k broadband cost the same as other dialup services). They offered a large amount of cable channels at prices lower than regional incumbent (Time Warner in Austin). I fear all of that good stuff will go away if they get bought out.  NOCManMacChatterPremium join:2004-09-30 Colorado Springs, CO | More likely they're not able to get enough capital to fund expansions. They are in some cases a over builder. Unfortunately a lot of their networks in Verizon serviced cities were overbuilt by Verizon.
If they became part of Surewest that may not be a bad thing. |
