Thanks, that is what I was wondering. Makes that decision simple then. Who wants to watch SD movies at 4:3 when you have a 65inch DLP with a HD DVD player that will upconvert regular DVDs to near HD quality at 1080p. It is darn close to HD looking too on most DVDs. |

| reply to Brad F We have HD VOD in Fort Wayne, IN. We were one of the first to get it. I just can't tell if we have HD programs On Demand from Starz, HBO, etc. The HD VOD folder contains PPV movie titles, then it has GOLFWEEK, WEALTHTV, MHD, and Howcast.
Starz and the other movie channels list Widescreen on some of their movies on demand. That was the question I had. |

| Does anyone know if any of the Movie packages have HD VOD titles? I see that Starz lists several of their VOD movies in wide-screen. Is this letter-box, or is it a true Widescreen picture such as HD (480p, 720p, or 1080i)? I am trying to decide if I want to add a movie package and I don't want to watch 40 channels of standard 4:3 format movies. I know that there are 5 HD channels that are in the 2 or 3 packages.
Thanks. |
