| A Very easy solution Get the HARDWARE vendors to offer a 'piracy free' ios image. Sure, your connection will be dead slow, but you can be assured no P2P traffic will pass on your router. And you won't be sued, because all your packets will be inspected before they are passed. That would make the MAFIAA very happy, because you wouldn't be able to download MP3's or Movies.
Of course, only US hardware vendors would implement this, because, quite frankly, the rest of the world doesn't care. Wonder if that would cause any financial loss to Cisco? Hmm.. only time will tell.
Look at it this way, if you buy computer hardware from an American company, you will be supporting 'the american MAFIAA', if you don't want to support them, then just buy your computer stuff from overseas.
This solves all of AT&T's problems with privacy, you KNOW if you buy US equipment, the government and industry will be monitoring you. The rest of us, well, we'll just buy our hardware from ANYWHERE ELSE in the world.
