The leaked memo obtained by Broadband Reports indicates the trials were to be conducted quietly, with the company studying consumer reaction for a broader launch if customers weren't annoyed. The largely negative press reaction to these plans may force Time Warner Cable to scrap the plan altogether.
Now that this story is on DSLR and many other sites, it is no longer "quiet" and deserves a ton of attention as this is absurd and another way to get deeper into consumers' pockets.
