HBO Goes Online

Downloading from the Web is the latest trend in movies, and HBO will soon jump on that bandwagon.
HBO, a subsidiary of Time Warner (nyse: TWX - news - people ), announced on Monday that it will launch an online downloading service on Tuesday to subscribers in Green Bay and Milwaukee, Wis. The new service, called HBO on Broadband, will be available to Time Warner Cable (nyse: TWC - news - people ) high-speed Internet customers as a free add-on to HBO and HBO on Demand, according to HBO spokesperson Jeff Cusson. |
