[XP Home] Security Tab in File/Folder Properties!

Security Tab in XP Home
After doing some Googling I came across a few results that would actually allow the Security tab to appear and work in Windows XP Home without having to go into safe mode. You can find more instructions on how to do this at the following URLs:

»www.geekstogo.com/forum/How-to-s···268.html

I used the first method and it worked, don't know if the second method will work but try it out if you wish. Either one should have the same or similar effect. I'm hoping that this will help some people who have Windows XP Home Edition manage their files and folders more securely over there network.

Even if you can see the security tab, it doesn't change the fact that XP Home authenticates everyone as a guest. This makes XP Home virtually worthless on a network where you want some to have access to resource, but prohibit access to the same resource by someone else.

Seems to be working fine for me. The permissions do set and do take affect.
