5gb-40gb over CABLE?

I have had EVDO SMBB from Millenicom for just about 2-weeks now and have not been pushing the unlimited thing too much. But I have already racked up about 20GB doing exactly what others have mentioned, Netflix and a few other legal venues for video. Mind that this is over a connection that varies from 500kb/s to 1.3Mb/s so the video is much lower quality and would be 3x that over my DSL line...good gawd what are these dolts thinking?

I can easily see hitting the 100gb level fairly often when business is slow around here.

Maybe it's a fear based motivation thing. If they make people afraid to actually use what they pay for then the need to provide better service/systems is reduced or even if taken to an extreme completely eliminated. Pay $40-$60/mo to send/receive emails and get online to pay your account. Do that and never worry about exceeding your cap.

And the idea that they will exclude content from TW companies...ummm...I dunna think that would be considered legal...or are we seeing the concept of DRM taken to a whole new level. Heck maybe they saw how well AOL did as a closed environment where they charged extra to venture beyond the gates, and they thought it was a great business model?
